LGH TeamWalk for Cancer,
On Sunday, May 19, 2013 Lowell General Hospital will hold its 14th annual TeamWalk for CancerCare. Last year, with the help of our generous corporate partners and more than 5,000 participants, TeamWalk raised $908,000 to support the Cancer Center services. This year our goal is to raise $1 million and we need your help to get us there.
Please join us as an individual or put a team together-big or small-and get ready for the experience of a lifetime! If you can’t join us that day, please consider making a donation. Everyone participates for a different
reason, united by hope and inspired to make a difference. This year LGH and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell are teaming up:
Give a PAIR for CancerCARE
We’re pairing up with Habitat for Humanity this year. Bring an old PAIR of sneakers to TeamWalk for CancerCare and Habitat for Humanity will donate half the recycling proceeds to our cause.
Why not wear a pair and donate a pair? You’ll be helping out a PAIR of great charities. Thank you!
Other shoes and clothing are also graciously accepted. Volunteers will collect your donation in the front of the Tsongas Arena.

The Merry Moose Fair at the ReStore was a huge success
Tis the Season for shopping and having fun! And shopping they did. 25 local crafters offered many gift giving ideas. The ReStore was buzzing with lots of activity The ReStore was busy all day with people coming to check out the craft and vendor tables at the Merry Moose Fair, to test drive Ford cars and to try to win cases of 50 Back Beer (which will support the Critical Repair Program) and gift baskets. Even Santa was there with his merry elf.
All this to help raise money for our affiliate to build 4 homes on Rock Street in Lowell.
The Drive 4UR Community program was developed by Ford as a fun, engaging way to help community organizations raise money to support their charities and causes. For every valid test drive* completed at Drum Hill Ford on Saturday December15th Ford Motor Company is making a donation of $20 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell, up to $6,000.
