Patrick N. Chieh, Vice President

Patrick N. Chieh, a consummate professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Information Technology sector. Positions held range from Area Sales Manager for Olivetti products, Quality Control Supervisor at Pre-Owned Electronics and currently a Systems Support Specialist at the law firm of Foley Hoag LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Outside his professional service, Patrick has worked as a teacher assistant, treasurer and a volunteer basketball coach for a local middle school in Lowell. This earned him recognition from the City of Lowell and the House of Representative of the State of Massachusetts for his services towards the City of Lowell and the State of Massachusetts respectively. In addition, he is currently serving as a member of the Parish Pastoral Council, Co-Director of Communications and a Lector/ Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lowell. Paul Barrett, Treasurer

Paul Barrett is Chief Technology Officer for NetScout’s Enterprise Business Unit. Paul joined NetScout with the acquisition of Psytechnics Ltd in 2011. Since then he has held the roles of Chief Product Officer for Voice and Video, and Chief Architect at NetScout. Paul was Head of Engineering for most of his ten year tenure at Psytechnics and was CTO when the company was acquired. Prior to that Paul worked at BT Labs, primarily on voice transmission for GSM and 3GPP.
Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has been actively involved in international standardization for most of that time. His standards work has encompassed many aspects of voice and video communications, including four generations of GSM and 3G codecs. Paul is currently a Vice Chairman of the ITU Study Group responsible for “Performance, QoS and QoE” and is head of the UK delegation to this group. He is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the IET and IEEE, and holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of York.

Andy Barlow is Vice President, ThingWorx Academic Program for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). PTC develops, markets, and supports product life cycle management (PLM) software solutions and related services that enable companies to enhance their product development processes. He has been involved with the Habitat Lowell affiliate since 1998. He began by swinging a hammer. In 2004 he joined the board and has served as Vice President, President and head of Board Development. While plastering a Habitat home he met his wife. He has also traveled with Habitat to Nepal to build bamboo homes. After reaching his term limits, he took a one year break and has recently rejoined to head the Strategic Planning/Board Development Committee.
Executive Director, Billerica Housing Authority
Bob served on the Billerica Board of Selectmen for twelve years and serves on the Board of Directors of Community Teamwork, Inc., a regional agency that seeks to strengthen communities and reduce poverty by delivering vital services and collaborating to create housing, education and economic opportunities. Bob also serves on the Boards of a number of local Community Organizations and Foundations. He received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Northeastern University. With over 35 years in the High Tech Industry, Bob was the Vice President of a small Cable/Harness Manufacturer in Billerica, MA.
Commercial Lending Officer, Washington Savings Bank
Derek joined the Washington Savings Bank lending team in 2013 bringing with him 12 years of banking experience. Prior employers include Bank of America, Sovereign Bank, TD Bank, and RBS Citizens Bank. In his current role, Derek is responsible for attracting new lending deals, analyzing the risk of the deals and servicing the existing commercial customer base. As an officer of the bank he is becoming a known asset of the bank in the community; through being the face of commercial lending as well as representing the bank in many of its community involvements.
Derek is married with three children and lives in the Merrimack Valley. Derek enjoys sports that include baseball, basketball, golf and hockey. In 2008 as a volunteer representing TD Bank, Derek assisted in the build of the Williams Ave property in Westford, MA and since then has been an advocate of Habitat for Humanity.

Kathie Johnson is a marketing and business executive with over 20 years of experience. Prior to Demandware, she was the Vice President of Global Advertising, Equity and Strategy for Dassault Systèmes, a $3B French-headquartered global 3D software company dedicated to providing business & people with virtual worlds to imagine sustainable innovations. Retired Hi-Tech Executive
Ed Maggio is a recently retired hi-tech operating executive who has lead in both start-up companies and large global corporations. A primary success for him has been to build leadership and operational management capability, integrating across functions, and enabling consistent execution and significant results.
Ed is currently interested in advising early stage companies, providing his expertise, and mentoring entrepreneurs in developing the tactics and execution to build innovative and relevant companies. Additionally, with non-profit organizations, “giving back” by adding value with strategic advice and guidance.
Ed has held the positions of President, COO, VP, and Board Member. Most recently he was VP of Global Operations at RSA and continued after its acquisition by EMC. Prior to that he was on Avici Systems’ first executive management team as VP Operations, and continued to build the company through its successful IPO.
His expertise is in product and business operations, and leading planning and execution across all corporate functions. He built decision-making and management capability, with the people and cultural environment to enable it.
Senior Vice President, Eastern Bank
Rob Moodie is a Senior Vice President and Regional Group Leader for the commercial banking division of Eastern Bank. Rob has 30 years of commercial banking experience, and joined Eastern Bank in 1999. He previously held commercial banking positions with Fleet Bank and the First National Bank of Boston. Rob holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from Boston College. In addition to serving on the board of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell, Rob also previously served on the board of The Lowell Development & Financial Corporation (LDFC), a non-profit development corporation which offers low-interest loans as an incentive to invest in commercial and housing development within the City of Lowell. Rob is married with three children and lives in Littleton.

Paiman Nodoushani joined Continuum in 2013 and has over 22 years of experience in engineering and product management. At Continuum he is responsible for the worldwide engineering organization, as well as setting and driving the technical strategy for the company. Prior to joining Continuum, Paiman held varied leadership roles with Cisco and Avaya. He was most recently senior director cloud products & solutions for Avaya, a global IT and communications leader, where he led Avaya’s transformation into a leader in cloud-based solutions.
Prior to leading Avaya’s cloud strategy and products, Paiman was at Cisco for over 12 years where he led various engineering and product organizations at the intersection of applications, virtualization, cloud, networking and content distribution networks /WAN optimization. Prior to Cisco he was at Maxcomm technologies (acquired by Cisco), NewNet (acquired by ADC) and Excel Switching (acquired by Lucent).

Elvira Paulino brings a long and distinguished history to her role as Director of Human Resources and Diversity at the Lowell Community Charter Public School (LCCPS).
Previously, she served as Director HR and Diversity for Children’s Hospital Boston and prior to that was International Human Resources Director for EMC Corporation. She is certified as an Employee Relations Specialist and Investigator, MCAD, a member of the Society of Human Resources Professionals, and NEHRA, complemented with a degree in leadership and management. She is also a 2006 Partnership Fellow, was awarded Hispanic Leadership 2000, and received 4 Lamplighter Awards in 2008.

Currently serving as Executive Director for the Greater Lowell affiliate, Brenda Gould started with Habitat as a volunteer in 2005. She joined the HFHGL Board in 2007 and served her first 3 years as Treasurer, then elected VP in March 2010 and President in fall 2010 through March 2011. Previous to Habitat, Brenda has worked in various business environments, most recently in companies of her own – DMJ Associates & LBK Land Development (property management companies for the past 5 years) and was a Schooley Mitchell Telecom franchise owner during 2010-2012. Prior work experience includes 25 years of industry experience as a Business Operations Manager with Millipore Corporation in Billerica MA and Agamatrix in Salem, NH. Brenda lives in Westford, MA with her husband, Perry and two daughters, Jennifer and Danielle. She holds a BBA in accounting from Siena College in Loudonville NY, and a MBA in finance from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
