How-To Workshops at Lowe’s Home Improvement will be April 15, 2015 7pm

As the national corporate partner of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program, Lowe’s Home Improvement offers training workshops for women. For those who may not have any experience in construction, these trainings equip them to feel more comfortable volunteering on the local Habitat construction sites.

To date, over 2,000 homes have been constructed by women crews in the U.S. and 30 foreign countries. Women Build empowers women to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s work by teaching new skills in a non-competitive, inclusive environment of cooperation, partnership and fun. Habitat construction staff provides on-site leadership to all of our volunteer groups.

17 MA Habitat Affiliates will be joining together to give women a Hand Up
