Alicia Mordach and family!

Alicia and her family will be moving into House #1! Alicia is a school nurse dedicated to children with disabilities. She is also is a single mom to a daughter named Olivia who loves the arts! Their rental unit is under new ownership which caused the rent to increased significantly over the past two years causing them to look for other options. Thankfully they found Habitat!

The family’s dear friend William, who is legally blind, also lives with them. William’s current room is a windowless loft making his life difficult. As a legally blind adult he suffers from the lack of natural light interfering with his sleep and wake cycle and this is made worse in their current living conditions. With their new home in Concord, he will be steps away from the MBTA allowing him independence and the ability to travel to Boston for specialist appointments.
