This week, Habitat Lowell’s Tuesday Crew volunteers teamed up with YouthBuild to rebuild the softball field dugouts at McPherson Park in Lowell.

The Tuesday Crew is a nickname given to some of Habitat Lowell’s most dedicated volunteers. Comprised mostly of retirees in related fields, these volunteers are on our job sites (included Critical Home Repair sites) not just on Tuesday, but multiple days every week.

Habitat Lowell has a strong standing partnership with YouthBuild Lowell’s construction program. Our construction manager, John, welcomes a group from YouthBuild every Wednesday to give them hands-on building experience.
